What happened:

The party continued to fight the undead army coming towards them. Tink's spiritual guardians and Nyx's Cloud of Daggers takes out more zombies and skeletons. A ogre zombie heads towards the party. Grombo throws two javelins in it and a hand axe. It keeps coming. A second ogre zombie comes from the north. Both ogres makes it through the defenses and the party starts hand to hand combat. Grombo takes out the first ogre and Zel takes out the second one. The party wins, but they are hurting. Tink casts a healing spell on everyone.

The group decides to check out the room to the west. Inside there is silver sphere floating above a dais. Grombo volunteers to touch it. When he touches it his hand pushes through and then the helmeted face of Lord Soth appears. He demands to know who they are. Burton attempts to calm Lord Soth down. Instead Lord Soth sends a death knight to the party and it attacks them. The knight casts a destructive wave hitting everyone in the party. Riffle is seriously hurt. The party work together to quickly defeat the death knight.

Nyx and Grombo want to explore where the undead army came from. The party finds a large garrison room that is now empty. They continue exploring and find a small narrow staircase that heads up. They decide to finish this floor before ascending.

The party eventually hears a terrible howling from a locked cell door. Riffle claims that it is Valendar. When the door is opened, they see that the room is bathed in red moonlight and there is a werewolf kneeling on the floor. When the door is opened, he attacks. The party sees a huge red mirror in ceiling that is bouncing the red moonlight in the room. Zel quickly takes aim with her crossbow and shatters the mirror.

With the red moonlight gone, Valendar transforms to his normal self and wholeheartedly thanks the party. He shares everything he knows about the Three Moon vault (including that his capture was due to him not full scouting out the Vault before the warden's attack Power of Secrets). He tells the party that they need to head to each of the three towers and either destroy the mirrors or change how the light is affecting the crystals to stop Teremini's ritual. Once the ritual is stopped they should be able to take their artifact. He doesn't know where Teremini is, but that her quarters are in the most northern tower. Then Valendar takes Riffel, who is badly wounded out of the Three Moon Vault and back home to the wardens.

The party takes the stairs up to the main floor of the castle. In the courtyard they see to giant skeleton bird creatures, but they don't seem to care about the party. The party heads to the south east tower and head up to the second floor. They enter a room and discover a hole in the floor with a mirror suspended within. Twenty feet below, a black hooded creature is studying ruins in the floor. They party decides to drop the mirror on the creature below.

A fight breaks out with the necromancer. He sends his accomplice, a Black Rose Bearer, to the doors to head upstairs. The necromancer casts Circle of Death upon the party, reeking necrotic damage on everyone. Everyone responds with ranged attacks through the hole in the floor. The necromancer casts dimension door and appears next to the party. The party now pummels him with melee attacks. As the necromancer starts the bestow a curse on Grombo, Nyx counterspells it, then she kills it with Eldritch Blast. Just then the Black Rose Bearer steps into the room. The party all focuses on it and quickly destroys it.
