What happened:

The party heads to Krynn. When they emerge from the portal, they meet a human barbarian named Grombo. Grombo explains he's been waiting a long time for the party. He explains Veylen told him to wait for them and give them a message. Tink takes the message and discovers that the message has Veylen's wax seal and magical seal. The letter explains the Veylen apologizes to the group for the weight he has placed upon them. He asks them to trust Grombo and use him to help complete their quest.

Then Nyx leads everyone towards a dying tree that the rod seems to be pointing to. There is a huge entrance going into the tree. Zelanis goes invisible and scouts ahead. She sees two giant spiders on guard on a ledge above. Grombo suggests using another entrance to the tree. Zelanis scouts out the second entrance and tells the party to sneak up. Tink makes a bunch of noise and the giant spiders turn around and attack. The party is able to quickly defeat the spiders, but then a huge rock flies by Nyx. A treant appears and tells the party to "Get out!" The party tries to persuade the treant to let them pass. The treant refused and a fight broke out. The treant eventually surrendered and told the party about an intruder that snuck into the Grotto before. The treant says he didn't chase after the intruder, because he was afraid of the dryad that lives in the Grotto.

The party goes to the entrance of the Grotto. There is a huge boulder blocking the entrance. Tink, Burton, and Grombo work together and push the bolder out of the way. Zelanis is lowered down on a rope to scout out the Grotto. She sees a small Kinder rummaging in the dirt, looking for something. Zelanis talks to Riffel and finds out he is looking for a ripe peylon fruit, to distract borthak that is attacking his fellow wardens. Zelanis decides to get the rest of the party to help look for the fruit. Riffel calls for help shortly after. The party shows up to find a dryad, Gazaia, interrogating Riffel. Gazaia demands the party state their business or leave. The party eventually finds out from Gazaia that the rod was here in the tree, but Lord Soth's soldiers took the artifact. Riffel offers to show the party Lord Soth's vault, if they can help him find the fruit.

The party asks Gazaia for the fruit, she says she will trade it for a magical item. Tink offers a magic scroll and the Gazaia accepts.

The party follows Riffel to help save his fellow wardens. Riffel tells the party that their artifact is in the Three Moons Vault in the nearby mountains and that one of his fellow wardens was captured, Valendar, knows more about the vault then any other warden.

Once the party arrives at the Bittergrass Fen, they see the borthak attacking the door to the warden's temple. Riffel tells the party they need to distract the borthak and pull it away from the temple. Then he can go in the temple and help the wardens escape safely.

Tink uses his familiar owl to carry the peylon fruit towards the borthak.
