What happened:
The party stayed at the academy over night. Tink researches through his book, "Out of the Endless Prison" and it talks about the prison-plane of Carceri. It give theoretical ways to escape this hell-like plane of existence. Nyx is over his shoulder studying with him. When they finish they go wake up Burton and Zelanis. Nyx gifts Zelanis the Necklace of Adaptation.
The party goes to the Drunken Drake for breakfast and to talk to Merrick. Merrick tells them about Gerrin Voss, a local thief who seems to be connected to the Vecna Cultists. And that he was last seen in the Chasm District of Neverwinter.
The party disguises themselves to look like poor villagers. They take a bushel of apples, salted meats, and 6 Devinshire sausages with them to barter with. Once in the Chasm District, Nyx tries to talk with a young girl. Tink offers her an apple for some information. She helps point out the elves in the area, but then runs off.
Zelanis knows that the head of the thieves guild is in the Chasm District and takes the party there to see if they can get some more information. The head of the local thieves guild is Varka, a half drow. She and Zelanis know each other well. Varka provides the party with the location of Gerrin Voss for a small finders fee. Burton catches Varka's interest and she tells him to come around when he's not so busy.
The party goes to the north end of the Chasm district and finds Gerrin Voss in one of the abandoned buildings. When the cult of Vecna is mentioned, Gerrin tries to run. Tink grapples him and the party interrogates him. He tells the party that he works for the cult by kidnapping "the nobodies" of the Chasm District. He says that names are left on an abandoned house, he then kidnaps whoever it is, and then brings them back for payment to the abandoned house.
The party intimidates Gerrin into taking them back to the cultists abandoned house. They find out that Gerrin's next target is the same little girl that they ran into earlier. Zelanis casts disguise self on herself to look like the little girl.
When dusk falls, Burton casts charm on Gerrin. Then Gerrin leads the party to the cultist location. When the door is opened, Zelanis stops playing possum and the party attacks. Inside the house there are more cultist. The party kills all the cultists; leaving two of them unconscious, but alive.
